Jessica Castellanos
MFT-I
I’ve had the privilege of working in residential treatment, where I supported individuals and families navigating recovery, trauma, and life transitions. Through that experience, I learned how courage and vulnerability can transform even the most difficult moments into opportunities for change.
My approach blends insight and skills:
Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) – to explore patterns, relationships, and the deeper parts of self with curiosity and compassion.
Motivational Interviewing (MI) – to support your own readiness and motivation for change, especially when facing ambivalence.
Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT) – to provide practical tools for managing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in everyday life.
Clients often describe me as warm, reflective, and attuned. I don’t see myself as the expert of your life — I see myself as a companion who can walk with you as you make sense of your story, face your fears, and imagine new possibilities.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who may be navigating anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, relational challenges, or simply the question: “Am I living in the way I want to?”
